2oz. - 2” x 1.75”
8oz. - 3” x 2.5”
16 oz. - 4" tall, 3” wide
24 oz. - 5” tall, 3.5” wide
Each piece was handmade on my potters wheel from smooth stoneware clay & the paddles were hand formed. It is glazed emerald green and bright coral for the flower. The spines were made one at a time using a special slip-trailing technique.
As with all my handmade pottery...every piece has its own unique handmade character and may have slightly different sizes, shapes and color variations. I never use molds and make each, one at a time. I always use lead free glaze & high fire in my kiln. All my dishes are food, dishwasher and microwave safe but hand washing is always recommended. Each piece is signed Back Bay Pottery and my initials.
