THIS IS FOR ONE (1) US SIZE COVERED BUTTER DISH WITH HANDLE
Approximate Measurements:
Outside - 3 3/4" tall (including the handle), 6 1/2" long
The inside dimensions of the lid is about 5" by 2", so it is big enough to eastern style butter stick (4.75" x 1.25") or western (3.5" x 1.5") style butter stick.
This beautiful dish is hand formed from dark red stoneware clay & glazed in my beautiful Aqua Mist. It is hand designed in my dot design with a special slip trailing technique. The texture beautifully breaks through the glaze to reveal the design.
As with all handmade pottery...every piece has its own unique handmade character and may have slightly different sizes, shapes and color variations. I never use molds and make each, one at a time. I always use lead free glaze & high fire in my kiln. All my dishes are food, dishwasher and microwave safe but hand washing is always recommended. Each piece is signed Back Bay Pottery and my initials.
