This is for the mug pictured. It is one of a kind. Each mug is hand thrown on the potters wheel, trimmed, refined and then the handle is attached. After that it is decorated, then it dries for a week to 10 days before going into the kiln for the first time. They are fired in the kiln twice and then hand-painted, waxed and glazed. Hand painted by my twin sister Lyssa Temple

As with all handmade pottery...every piece has its own unique handmade character and may have slightly different sizes, shapes and color variations. I never use molds and make each, one at a time. I always use lead free glaze & high fire in my kiln. All my dishes are food, dishwasher and microwave safe but hand washing is always recommended. Each piece is signed Back Bay Pottery and my initials.
