Each beautiful jar is hand sculpted with stoneware clay & glazed. It is hand decorated in our dot design with a special slip trailing technique. The texture beautifully breaks through the glaze to reveal the design.
As with all handmade pottery...every piece has its own unique handmade character and may have slightly different sizes, shapes and color variations. We never use molds and make each, one at a time. We always use lead free glaze & high fire in the kiln. All our dishes are food, dishwasher and microwave safe but hand washing is always recommended. Each piece is signed Back Bay Pottery and initials.
